Males and females are around 7.5~8.0- and 8.5~9.5-millimeter-long respectively. For dried insect specimens, they are dark yellow or orange but when they are alive, they have deep green or bright green body. The crown of the head is deep yellow with three black spots, and pushed forward in a triangle shape. They have spots at the end of forehead. The fore wings are brilliant yellow-white and sometimes have dim fog patterns on the edge of the inside. The hind wings are white and transparent.
Imagoes emerge once a year inhabiting in vegetation, the lower part of crown area in the forest for a short period, from early June to late spring following year.
